The New Zealand organising committee wishes to thank those who attended the CPS MSA2023 conference in Wellington earlier this year. The normal 2 year gap between conferences was extended to three years due to pandemic disruption, so it was very welcome to have so many join us and enjoy the Wellington hospitality. A successful conference comes from many things but most of all the support of a large group of Sponsors, many of whom are longstanding MSA supporters. The Platinum sponsor was Auckland based CPS NZ (Ltd) who are celebrating their 35th year in business this year. Gold Sponsors were WIKA and Fluke. It is a big investment for sponsors to attend conferences, therefore we encourage our members to continue to support and promote them.
The three day programme included some very thought provoking plenary talks, 26 presentations, the CPS dedicated breakout room, and a temperature workshop. With a site visit to MSL, the welcome function, conference dinner and a tour of WETA Digital, there was plenty of chances to step away from conference proceedings and enjoy connecting. It is often stated, the conversations during the tea breaks are where the gold happens, as problems are discussed and new connections made. This forum brings together such a broad range of experts who are always happy to share their advice.
